Constructionarium is an organisation
in which AJM take proud responsibility for being
involved. We linked together with
Liverpool
University
and
Mott McDonald to guide 90 students through a series of
projects as detailed below.
Within this week, we worked with
2nd year Civil Engineering students to
complete four mini projects led by a team of AJM staff
and supervision.
These students got involved in setting out,
groundworking, steelfixing, formworking, and concreting,
whilst learning about project management, health and
safety and construction management.
We intend on returning to
Norfolk
in 2009 to take
part in a new set of projects with a new team of
students.
The project titles
were:
- Naples Shaft and Roof Canopy
- Brewery Wharf Cable Stayed Bridge
- Ravenspurn Oil Rig
- Millau Bridge
