This scheme forms part of the second phase of the Building Schools for the Future (BSF) initiative in Southwark.

Saint Thomas the Apostle College (STAC) is a grant maintained secondary school for boys in Southwark. It currently has about 750 pupils and 100 staff. It is being developed to provide new teaching and sports facilities in three new blocks and one existing block to be refurbished.

A J Morrisroe constructed the superstructures for Blocks A, B and C, comprising:    

New Build: Construction of reinforced concrete columns and walls from ground floor level, the construction of suspended reinforced concrete floor and roof slabs and the construction of reinforced concrete upstands.

The project was constructed utilizing two crawler cranes and was completed in 10 weeks.
