One Chamberlain Square is a part of the new Paradise development in Birmingham. The site is part of a major regeneration project that will enhance the historic area of the city of Birmingham. Surrounded by buildings such as New Birmingham Library, Birmingham Town Hall and the Museum of Birmingham, this site was the main focus for the development of medieval and early post-medieval Birmingham.
The 172,000 sq ft building will use a variety of materials to complement the existing listed architecture whilst still presenting a contemporary finish. Morrisroe is constructing an eight storey post-tensioned frame consisting of 2 service shafts and a number of supporting reinforced concrete columns. Strict conditions are in line with regards to traffic and delivery management, all of which have been carefully planned and detailed in the Carillion Traffic Management Plan.
The finished product will have a roof terrace offering views of the city as well as retail and restaurant units at ground level. The latest facilities and amenities will be available along with open floor plans in a range of layout options varying from 16,000 sq ft to 23,500 sq ft.
One Chamberlain Square will be available for occupation in late 2018.
